Lost in Time is a solo game project I've worked on for the minor Digital Media Productions. It has won the Minor DMP Achievement Award for Expanding Limits in 2016. The player will experience an old man telling a tale how he ended up with wife, many years ago. As a young man he's lost and ends up in a manor. Soon he will realise that there's no way out and he has to go deeper into the house to find a way out. He will encounter puzzles, traps, enemies and eventually meet the love of his life who he has to save from a sleeping curse.

The game was made in the Unreal Engine 4. As a designer I have no programming knowledge. I've used the visual scripting system called Blueprints. It's a complete gameplay scripting system based on the concept of a node-based interface to create gameplay from within the Unreal Editor. The main focus of the project was to create a combination of gameplay and storytelling and make both relevant to each other.
